This year, VPSA graduated 50 seniors. That’s exponentially larger than the original graduating class of 2011—one senior. That means that each year we are sending out more young men and women into the world who, as our purpose states, think clearly and listen carefully with discernment and understanding; who reason persuasively and articulate precisely; who are capable of evaluating their entire range of experience in the light of the Scriptures; and who do so with eagerness in joyful submission to God. Including the class of 2015, we now have 129 VPSA graduates (and many more homeschool graduates) who are there taking the world by storm. But rather than give you the statistics, we thought you should hear from the grads themselves.
Whether you’re trekking through the Amazon rainforest or just relaxing in the shade of your own backyard, you’ll want to fit this project into your summer break. Homeschooling moms (or all moms for that matter) know a thing or two about packaging. How you present something to your child can affect how they respond to it. Ever tried to sneak vegetables into their meal by mixing grated zucchini, onion, and carrot into meatballs? Well it’s sort of like that. Pull out a textbook about Antarctica and your summer will be as lifeless as the continent itself. Pull out a continent box, and you might be dancing the merengue or cooking up the spicy curries of India without stepping foot outside your door.

There is that bridge about twenty minutes down East Market Street, that looks like it will fall over, that is more brown and green than grey and black. That bridge that crosses a dry creekbed, that has the homeless people underneath it.
The road crosses the ditch then circles around to the right and goes the other way, past the bridge, and then it turns left and continues. The people under the bridge can feel the cars pass above them, and then when the cars come around they can see them. And every time we drive past the bridge, I can feel them watching me.
You heard right. This month you have a chance to win a free live or self-paced course for the 2015-16 or 2016-17 Academic Year. Entry is easy: for every $100 you spend on books in June, your name will be automatically entered into a drawing. At the end of the month, we will pick two names “out of a hat.” The 1st place winner will win one free live course, and the runner up will win one free self-paced course (new registrations only, please). The courses can be transferred as a gift to other students, or deferred to the 2016-17 Academic Year.
