“What does the Bible tell us about the nature of God?”

“What are the basic presuppositions of your worldview?”
What are three questions you will never hear asked at a political debate?
Do You Believe in Magic?
by Lexi Detweiler
Do you believe in magic? No, I’m not talking about Harry Potter’s wizarding ways, or the death-defying illusions of Houdini. I guess it’s not magic exactly, it’s the curious and fine details of God’s creation. It’s His thoughtfulness, His premeditation, and even, His sense of humor. And it’s right there, at our fingertips. How does rain form? How can quicksand be a solid and a liquid at the same time? What is a rainbow? There are many phenomena in our physical world that we take for granted. We groan and grumble about a rainy day, instead of marveling at the water cycle or how necessary the rain is for our plants to grow. We swat at bees, without taking a minute to really think about how crucial they are to pollination of our crops.
